Wilkinson Christmas
As you'll see in the many videos below, we spent Christmas in Jackson with my family. We drove from Versailles and stayed almost a week. We celebrated his fist birthday with the family, had our traditional Christmas Eve church & neighborhood party, Christmas brunch with my dad's family, Christmas dinner with family friends and visits from old friends in between. We went to dinner with the Sherman's & Heidelberg's and caught up with Rachel & Kap Primo's. The best part was being with my sister and Will getting to play with his cousin Gibson. Christmas was very fun! Thank you Billy for driving, the only un-fun part of the trip.

Will and Gibson play with the rocking chair
I love watching these two play together. Here they are rocking the old chair in my mom's kitchen. They had so much fun playing together! We miss you Gibson! Kisses!
2nd Cousins at Christmas Brunch
Here are all the Wilkinson and Crosby grandkids being so good while their pictures are taken. We had a nice Christmas brunch with my dad's sister's family and my grandmother.
Gibson & Will reunite
This is Christmas Eve when Gibson arrived in Jackson. Will was very happy to see her, even though she wouldn't give him a high five.
Birthday cupcakes on Christmas night
We celebrated Will's birthday on Baby Jesus's birthday with some family friends. Gibson and Will chowed down some cupcakes while we all had a good laugh. Gibson likes the icing most, whereas Will seems to just like to squish it in his hand.
Will dances with Frosty & Wiley
While in Jackson for Christmas, it was so hot that we couldn't expect Will to wear pants. As soon as he got outside on the patio, he jumped up on the hot tub cover and danced around. He's a little ham. (Frosty & Wiley are the snowman & snowwoman behind him.)

Little Dancing Man
He's slowly started picking up the dancing bug. It's very cute. He stomps that foot and bounces up and down...kind of looks like his uncle Kevin when he dances. I caught this video very early one morning when he totally should have been asleep still.
Totally forgot to post Halloween pictures!
Here's our little lobster boy!
We had a really fun first Halloween. On Friday night, Billy's parents came down to see Will Trick-or-Treat. Will's sitter, Tammy, brought her family over later that night too. On Saturday night we had a Halloweenie Roast at our house with friends and their kids. The kids wore their costumes again. It was so fun!
Who's walking who??
Here's a cute little video off Will & Jackson. We'd just gotten home from a walk with Jackson & he still had his leash on. Will kept picking it up and Jackson would kind of drag him across the room. It made Will giggle, and I love that sound. We have a very patient and sweet dog because he didn't seem to mind when Will proceeded to bite him! Hoskins family - notice the soccer skills at the end!

First Happy Meal - Is this a milestone??
Someone gave Will his first Happy Meal complete with a toy. So much for all the healthy food he's been eating. He loved the fries, just like his momma!

Fun Fall Weekend
This weekend Will went to a birthday party for Ben Lehman & to a big pumpkin patch. The weather turned cool for the first time this fall, and the colors were beautiful.
We are very excited to take a quick trip to Jackson next weekend to see Grammy & Pop Pop, Aunt Jennifer & Cousin Gibson! Sadly we'll be missing Julie's triplet shower in Dallas, but we'll be scheduling a trip to OKC soon!! Go LeClercq Triplets!!
Here are some pictures from the weekend. One of my faves is of Will getting a hug from his good friend Jackson Petty. He's a loveable little man!

Will's First Sign
Oh, time is just flying by! Will is going to be 10 months this week! He's walking everywhere, pulling drawers open, closing doors, climbing on things...it's exhausting to watch. But also exciting! I've been trying to teach Will to sign since around 4 months, and he's never responded. I started with the sign for "milk" and repeated it every time I gave him a bottle - or every time I remembered! Just recently I started watching the Baby Einstein First Signs DVD with him. Now every once in awhile he'll do the sign with his hand, but not really in response to anything. I'm not sure if he was asking for milk or just making the sign, but I caught a good one on video. (Again, pardon the high pitched voice...it's very exciting for me!)

Grammy and Pop Pop come visit!
We had a great time with Grammy and Pop Pop Wilkinson this weekend. Will showed off his walking, and Grammy introduced him to a lot of new big boy foods. Pop Pop always wanted to take Will to the zoo, and although he may not have noticed many of the animals...there's always pictures!
Thanks mom and dad for the fun time we had together and for the fun presents you left for Will. The airplane was a little over the top - he's only 9 months old!

Great new pics of Will
Our friend and neighbor, Erin Moore, came through with some more great pictures of Will! We walked up to the park today and above are some of my favorite pictures.
The rest are posted on the link below:

She's doing this professionally now, and I love her style because it's all candids. She captures Will in such a genuine way. Thanks for the pictures Erin!! Love them!

Walking!!
We got a good video of Will walking today. He's a little shaky on his feet, but still taking quite a few steps! Billy tempted Will with favorite ($1.99) toy, the bouncy ball.
Improving on the walking skill
Here's another video of Will walking behind his push toy. He's improving steadily! He falls in the video, but doesn't mind at all. I really hate hearing myself in these videos. Remind me not to talk next video.
8.5 months - Playing and Standing
Here's a fun video of Will playing with the lid of a box, playing peek-a-boo and standing up a bunch. Such a happy baby!

Will 8 months- pushing toy
Will has learned how to walk behind his push/ride toy. He's very proud of himself. I love when he gets so excited he has to stop and shake the toy.

Look at that tough cowboy!
Will is a good cabin baby as Bill Hoskins stated (proudly). We spent the weekend at the cabin in Mayslick with the Hoskins grandparents, Uncle Kevin & Uncle Chris and even Great Uncle Bill who had just arrived from Vermont. Anne took Will to visit his Great Grandparents. Muv & Granda got to spend some quality time with Will and it looks like they really enjoyed hanging out with him. I don't know what kind of words of wisdom they imparted on Will, but he was so inspired that he stood up for the first time that night. I love the look of pride in his face.

Silly Sidewalker!
We got a cute video of Will crawling across the yard at the cabin this weekend. His crawl has evolved over the last few weeks from a two knee crawl, a one knee/one foot crawl, and now to this two foot side-walking crab crawl. He pulls to the left a little, so we'll be working on his alignment.

Standing!
At the cabin this weekend, Will went from sitting to standing without holding on to anything. He's playing around with the idea of standing for longer periods of time, but no steps yet! I'll be posting more pictures from our fun weekend at the cabin. Stay tuned!

Gibson hugs (tackles??) Will
As I said below, Gibson definitely loves her cousin Will. Lots of hugs. Here's a cute video of her giving Will some hugs...maybe a bit too aggressively! :) No one was hurt in the making of this video.
Sitting still watching a video
We couldn't believe that at almost 7 months & 17 months, Will & Gibson sat this still to watch a little Baby Einstein. Jennifer painted these cute chairs for the kids, and they would sit in them at night watching videos. Will had a tendency to try to flip his over, so he needed a bit more supervision. But Gibson was just so calm watching the video. It was so cute! I love the expressions on their faces.

Gibson takes Will on a stroll
On our last night in Gulf Shores, we went to dinner at the new Live Bait in the Wharf. After dinner (and before the ferris wheel), Gibson had fun pushing Will around the parking lot. Will looks like he had just as much fun. **Before you call Child Protective Services on us, the lot was basically empty and there were lots of adults around.
